WELDER & FABRICATOR
Under the direction and supervision of the Shop Manager, the responsibilities of this position include cutting, fitting and joining, fabricating, and repairing metal by applying appropriate welding techniques in accordance with product specifications and production schedules.

What You’ll Do
Cut material according to cut list on provided shop drawings.
Setup and use welding tools, and machines accordingly.
Layout work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products.
Operate forklift, over-head crane, and additional manpower for moving material.
Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, drawings, and/or work orders.
Inspect equipment to maintain functional equipment; if any equipment needs repairs notify supervisor.
Inspect that all tools in the vehicles are accounted for.
Maintain a clean shop, work area, vehicles, and break room/bathrooms.
Maintain all finishing material in the correct area, and dispose of them correctly. Perform other tasks as assigned by Shop Manager.
