OVERVIEW:

We are hiring a Welder/Fabricator to join our team immediately. This is a hands-on role in a production shop environment where you will fabricate, fit, and weld metal components daily. We need someone with solid experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to read blueprints. Must be able to work independently and in a team. All candidates must live or relocate to the State of Colorado and live nearby Rifle, CO and must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and represent Aspen Welding's standards of quality, integrity, and craftsmanship on every job

• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings

• Fabricate, fit, and weld metal components to spec with precision and consistency

• Meet production deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with shop safety protocols

• Communicate clearly with shop leads and team members to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time

• Inspect finished welds and fabrications for quality before sign-off

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience (architectural and structural fabrication)

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• AWS certification or equivalent is a plus, but not required
